Some of the greatest European footballers of all time are to play for Laureus All Stars against a team of Real Madrid Legends to raise money for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
The match will take place at FC Utrecht on Saturday, May 2 (18.00hrs kick-off) and the Laureus team includes Dutch international stars, who have played for some of the most successful clubs on the planet.
Former Ajax, AC Milan, Internazionale and Real Madrid midfielder Clarence Seedorf, a board member of Laureus The Netherlands, will be joined by Laureus Ambassador and former Ajax, Juventus and Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.
Also pulling on the Laureus All Stars jersey will be 1988 European Champion and former PSV and Anderlecht defender Adrie van Tiggelen and Pierre van Hooijdonk, who represented The Netherlands at three major championships, scoring 21 goals.
The inaugural Laureus Charity Match will raise awareness and generate funds to drive forward Laureus Sport for Good projects in The Netherlands over the next 12 months.
