Oryx GTL held its annual Qatari Day (Al-Tawasol Day), dedicated to Qatari employees in the presence of executive management at the company’s premises at Woqod Tower. The event is part of the company’s annual programme aimed at communicating with Qatari employees, bringing them closer to senior management, providing a forum to discuss their concerns and following-up on their development and training schemes.
The objective is to upgrade and raise the efficiency of its employees to the highest levels in line with the main pillars upon which Qatar National Vision 2030 is based, focusing on human development and Qatarisation policy. The intent is to provide an ideal work environment, help improve their skills and prepare them to become more effective professionals of the future. The staff also presented their suggestions and inquiries communicating about a vast range of topics.
The chiefs, managers, and head of sections answered the queries and committed to review certain issues that were raised in the discussion in order to present suitable solutions accordingly. The day also included a number of other activities aimed at boosting the morale of employees and motivating their creativity. To support and encourage employees to continue their efforts, ‘Certificates of Appreciation’ were presented to outstanding employees across all fields of work, and fresh graduates.
