Exhibitors at Project Qatar have been taken off site for a closer look at some of the country’s major construction projects.
The tour consisting of presentations and site visits to Lusail City, Doha Metro and Msheireb Downtown Doha, enabled participants to gather first-hand information on the local market.
“Project Qatar is not only an exhibition platform for the construction industry but is an expert facilitator in providing our exhibitors the opportunity to visit these mega-projects happening in Qatar and meet with their project managers” explained Rawad Sleem, project manager, Project Qatar.
As part of the tour exhibitors received a panoramic overview on each project from the senior management on each project. It also provided exhibitors the opportunity to promote their products and services.
“Structural and ecological trends are shaping the construction and infrastructure environment in Qatar,” said George Ayache, general manager, IFP Qatar, the organisers of Project Qatar. “To thrive in this environment we have invited our exhibitors to meet with the most exciting and compelling projects under construction in Qatar. As part of achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030, these projects are excellent examples of strategy in action,” he added.
