Qatar-Pakistan Energy Talks in Tokyo (Japan)

HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad Sherida Al Kaabi met separately with HE Federal Minister for Energy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Omar Ayub Khan and Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Isshu Sugawara, on the sidelines of the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference in Tokyo, Japan.

Discussions during the meeting with Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry focused on cooperation between Qatar and Japan in the field of energy and particularly in the natural gas industry, and other issues of mutual concern.

The talks reaffirmed commitment to stronger bilateral relations and future cooperation in all aspects of the energy industry.

Also, the discussions during the meeting with Federal Minister for Energy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan centered on cooperation in the field of energy, as well as other issues of mutual concern.

Qatar-Japan energy talks

Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi has held talks in Tokyo with Isshu Sugawara, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Discussions focused on co-operation in the field of energy and particularly in the natural gas industry, and other issues of mutual concern.

Both reaffirmed their commitment to stronger bilateral relations and future co-operation in all aspects of the energy industry.

The discussions were attended by Hassan bin Mohamed Rafei al- Emadi, Qatar’s envoy to Japan, as well as senior executives from Qatar Petroleum and Qatargas.
