Cityscape Qatar 2013, part of the Middle East’s leading real estate development and investment event brand, was opened today by H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman Qatar Chamber, who delivered the inaugural address at the Opening Ceremony on the importance of the real estate sector in realising the ambitions of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The ceremonial ribbon was also cut before an audience of the most influential decision-makers and investors in real estate and infrastructure development in Qatar, the Middle East region and from across the globe as well as local and international media.
Prestigious exhibitors, this year are showcasing a wide range of projects and developments from countries such as Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Portugal, Turkey, UAE, UK and of course Qatar. The list includes Qatari Diar, Ezdan Holding Group, Barwa Real Estate Company, the United Development Company-UDC, Mazaya Qatar Real Estate Development, The Wave-Oman, and Al Bandary Real Estate.
Barwa Real Estate Group will unveil several ground breaking projects during the exhibition; The Oryx Island, a pedestrian-only integrated development featuring luxury villas, an aqua park and five floating hotels, the highlight of the announcements from Qatar’s prominent international real estate and investment group.
The Mall of Qatar (MOQ) officially hosted media and members of the public at their exhibition stand where they unveiled their interactive model and the video fly through of the new Mall for the very first time.
Ezdan Holding group is continuing its plans at achieving the highest growth rate in the local market as interactive participants in the expansion of Qatar. The company today announced new projects such as the VIP Village, the Smart villages, the Al Shamal Complex and Al Rayyan Towers.
