Proving to be consistently excellent, Qatar Airways came in second last year, and has jumped up to the first spot in 2021 as a result of its remarkable efforts during the year – Qatar Airways is the world’s best airline in 2021. Scoring top marks for airline refunds and ticket flexibility, Qatar Airways also scored high marks across the board.

Qatar Airways has been named Airline of the Year 2021 by AirlineRatings. The airline has also clinched the Best Middle East Airline, Best Catering, and the Best Business Class awards. This marks the third year in a row Qatar Airways has achieved the Best Business Class accolade, recognizing its patented Q-suite product.
The AirlineRatings ‘Airline of the Year’ award acknowledges the best in aviation, with a focus on product innovation, good route network and overall safety. All AirlineRatings awards are given based on strict assessment criteria put together by industry professionals with extensive expertise and experience in the aviation field.

The second best airline in the world is Delta Air Lines who last year missed out on a top 10 spot. Delta’s commitment to passenger safety and providing customers with refunds has been essential to its success in this year’s rankings. In third place is All Nippon Airways: The largest airline in Japan. All Nippon Airways ranked highly for customer satisfaction, providing refunds and implementing new safety measures.
