Palestine requests an urgent meeting of the Arab League Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss ways to:

  • Mobilize political action at the Arab and international levels to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression and hold its perpetrators accountable.
  • Provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
  • Achieve peace and security based on international law, international legitimacy resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.

Palestinian Ambassador to the Arab League Mohannad Aklouk requested an urgent meeting on Sunday to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, including the recent escalation of settler and Israeli official incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound (Masjid Al Aqsa) and the unprecedented escalation in Gaza Strip, where Israeli attacks have killed and terrorized civilians and destroyed residential towers and infrastructure.
